Blue Diamond Welcomes Young Leader Class of 2020 The co-op kicked off the year with a new class taking part in 2020 Young Leader Program. It was an amazing two days learning about Blue Diamond ’s operations and the importance of legislative advocacy. The involvement and active participation of this class — the largest in the history of the program — made this first session extremely valuable. The class also had the special opportunity to visit the floor of the Assembly, a first for the program, with Assemblymember Jim Cooper and Assemblymember Heath Flora. Agricultural Liaison Bill Lyons and State Water Resources Control Board member DeeDee D’Adamo met with the group to discuss the critical state issues affecting the agriculture.
