She runs her own consulting company called Evans Agricultural Consulting Inc. where she works with farmers statewide to obtain funding for equipment upgrades, installation of water-efficient irrigation systems, and limiting GHG emissions. She also works with equipment dealers to help customers switch to low dust equipment for almond and walnut harvest. Evans serves as director of the Yuba-Sutter Farm Bureau Board and the Sutter County Resource Conservation District Board. She is a very involved member of Blue Diamond Growers where she is District 2 liaison vice chair. She is a past Almond Board Leadership member and a current Blue Diamond Leadership Member.
